Cohort 1 & 2 ECHS Students

LSCO can provide opportunities for Early College High School Students to spend time on campus and learn about the college environment by (1) sitting and chatting with their online instructor, (2) participating in a blackboard training session, (3) gaining transitional testimony and (4) time management seminars.  “Cultural capital” is a term used to denote the knowledge, skills, education ,and personal advantages that enhance the ability to thrive socially and economically (Bourdieu, 1986).

We propose that the following experiences are related to gaining college cultural capital for our Early College High School students.
